I’ve always been a sucker for a nicely scented cologne. My boyfriend always jokes with me that it’s his cologne that originally drew me to him. Maybe it was. I do remember letting him know that he smelled good when I first met him. He’s worn the same few fragrances ever since, and I still love them all to this day.
I’m here to help you figure out which cologne might be the best option if you’re in search of a gift for your significant other. While I could go on for days with a list that he’d enjoy, I’m going to limit it to just a short few here. I think any one of these should do the trick.
The first cologne I’d suggest getting is Dark Blue, by Hugo Boss. This is a greatly underrated cologne that’s been around since the earlier part of the decade, and carries a nice, light fragrance with notes of fruit that isn’t overbearing by any means.
The bottle is a darker color. Can you guess which one that might be? If there’s any cologne that I had to compare the smell of it to, I’d say that it resembles Polo Sport with a little more spice.
After this, I’m going to recommend Blue Jeans, a Versace cologne. This one is a bit less neutral in the sense that the scent is a little stronger. I’d probably call it sweet. I’ve seen both guys and girls go crazy for this one.
If you don’t like something sweet, you might want to look into Dark Blue or the next cologne on my list. This is probably an acquired taste, and if it’s not to your liking, you should definitely avoid it.
Finally, I believe that Armani Code is a greatly underrated cologne that I think would be a hit with your boyfriend. I absolutely love this cologne and I think that you most likely will too.
Though I could go on forever with more options, I think this is a great start. Try one of these out and you’ll be well on your way in my opinion. Your boyfriend should give these all high marks, and you’ll have a happy man on your hands.
