Colognes For Men That Your Man Will Enjoy

by Lara Fletcher

I’ve always been a sucker for a nicely scented cologne. My boyfriend always jokes with me that it’s his cologne that originally drew me to him. Maybe it was. I do remember letting him know that he smelled good when I first met him. He’s worn the same few fragrances ever since, and I still love them all to this day.

I’m here to help you figure out which cologne might be the best option if you’re in search of a gift for your significant other. While I could go on for days with a list that he’d enjoy, I’m going to limit it to just a short few here. I think any one of these should do the trick.

One very safe bet, in my opinion, is a fragrance by Hugo Boss and it’s called Dark Blue. It’s quite a few years old at this point, as it came out earlier this decade. Still, the fragrance is fresh and modern without a doubt. This won’t be your typical heavy cologne that could offend some people.

It comes in a dark blue bottle (as expected), and smells like Davidoff Cool Water, only a little better in my mind.

After this, I’m going to recommend Blue Jeans, a Versace cologne. This one is a bit less neutral in the sense that the scent is a little stronger. I’d probably call it sweet. I’ve seen both guys and girls go crazy for this one.

If you don’t like something sweet, you might want to look into Dark Blue or the next cologne on my list. This is probably an acquired taste, and if it’s not to your liking, you should definitely avoid it.

Lastly, I’d look into Safari, the very cologne that won me over with my current boyfriend. This is an extremely masculine cologne that has a bit of a musky scent, but it’s one that I’ve always loved. It’s a classic at this point, as it’s probably been around for at least 15 or 20 years, and it still remains popular today.

While there are thousands of possible colognes to choose from out there, these should all do you very well in my opinion. Rarely do I come across someone who doesn’t enjoy the scent of these fragrances and I think you’ll find the same.
